MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: DECEMBER 26, 2016-JANUARY 1, 2017! (PART 1)
Our annual family trip up to San Luis Obispo after Christmas, hiking to a waterfall with the pups, seeing my mom’s high school self in a gallery show, and spending New Years weekend with my closest friends who came down from the Bay area.

6:30 am, early rising to be ready for today’s drive with the family for our annual wine country trip

Sun rises on the way to drop the dogs off at my auntie’s house

And then we’re off to San Luis Obispo

Candy shoppin’ with Lauren, first things first

Love stopping by Urban once a year here in SLO for the after Christmas sale…almost got this dress. Alas.

Back in the hotel before dinner we attempted to watch The Martian but it kept cutting out due to rain

Downtown San Luis Obispo, we had some okay sushi

Looks sunny, but it’s CHILLY. Had to be bundled up.

Stopped at the House of Bread for some baguettes to take to our picnic later

And then we drove to Paso Robles, back into the candy shop

Merlot, pancakes, pumpkin pie…and more…assorted cotton candy flavors

Daughters! We come up here every year with our families, it’s v. delightful.

Stopped at a winery and while everybody tasted I played with the winery dogs…Uva and Phoebe!

Brief stop for a flight at Barrelhouse Brewing, Melia loves the Sunny Daze and wanted to come back for a six pack

Last eve in San Luis Obispo…a nice dinner with cute festive cocktails at a hotel restaurant called The Granada Bistro

And then the drive started looking like this

Fell asleep/zombied out listening to My Favorite Murder

Went to pick up the pups from my aunt and she’s also watching Barkley, my cousin’s dog hahaha they are so small compared to him

My mom made some real basic ozoni for dinner…mochi soup!

I headed back to Culver for the night, Kiki was borrowing my washer/dryer before we headed to Tristan’s 2016 themed party

2016 themed party? Kiki was Yeezy Season 3.

I was TRYNA be Ariana Grande as Penny from Hairspray Live! But…I just looked more like Amanda Bynes’ Penny 😦
